Abir (5-59), Debtanu (5-91), Gaurav (86) star in First Div two-day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group B two-day encounters on Saturday, both the bowlers and batters dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Abir Chatterjee (5-59) and Priyanshu Gautam (4-93) was superb with the ball as Ballygunge United Club bundled out Kolkata Union Sporting Club for 228. Somen Mahanti scored 67. In reply, Ballygunge United Club were 35/2 at stumps.
In other matches, Debtanu Baidya (5-91) helped Police Athletic Club bowl out Dakshin Kalikata Sansad for 239. Avijit Mondal (62), Sourav K Gouda (51) and Soumyadip Manna (59) impressed. In reply, Police Athletic Club were 23/3 at stumps.
Subhrangshu Ghosh (4-37) and Arun B (2-52) helped Belgachia United Club bowl out Paikpara Sporting Club for 183. Basudev Ghosal (54) impressed. In reply, Belgachia United Club were 96/6 at stumps. Sudhanshu Verma bagged 2 wickets.
Gaurav Jathar (86), Gautam Raghuvanshi (60), Viraj Krishna (52) helped Aryan Club post 290. Narayan Rana (4-75), Ravi Yadav (3-41) impressed. In reply, Shibpur Institute were 5/0 at stumps.
Avinash Kumar (75), Rahul Prasad (54) helped Aikya Sammilani post 359/7 at stumps. For Tollygunge Agragami, Surveer Chandra (4-120) and Adarsh Jaiswal (3-127) impressed.
Sandesh Drugwar (65), Sayan Paul (51), Arnav Sinha (45) helped Kumartuli Institute post 293. For Bhukailash Sporting Club, Amar Chaudhary (4-92) and Anshuman Pandey (3-93) impressed.
