In the CAB First Division League Group B & C two-day league-cum-knockout tournament on Friday, the bowlers dominated the batters on Day 2.
In the first match, Abir Chatterjee (133), Priyanshu Gautam (6-34) helped Ballygunge United Club beat Dakshin Kalikata Sansad by 224 runs. Ballygunge United Club posted 326. In reply, Dakshin Kalikata Sansad scored only 102.
In other matches, Shalabh Shrivastava (100), Ayush (96), Subhrangshu Ghosh (3-68), Jay Goyal (3-80) helped Belgachia United Club beat Kumartuli Institute by 134 runs. Belgachia United Club posted 430/7. In reply, Kumartuli Institute scored 296. Pawan scored a fighting 116.
Rajarshi Mitra (3-57), Bapi Manna (3-70), Sayan Mukherjee (62), Viraj Krishna (53) helped Aryan Club beat Paikpara Sporting Club by 130 runs. Aryan Club posted 351/9. In reply, Paikpara Sporting Club scored only 221. Prashant Awasthi scored 67.
