Jitender (9-37), Prince (7-25), Parvej (6-58) impress in 1st Div League Two-Day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group B & C two-day league-cum-knockout tournament on Tuesday, the bowlers dominated the batters on Day 2.
In the first match, Jitender Shaw (9-37, 23), Tanay Bag (118 not out), Sanjib Kumar Sharma (115) helped Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club beat BNR Recreation Club by 372 runs. Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club posted 444/8. In reply, BNR Recreation Club were bundled out for 72.
In other matches, Prince Yadav (7-25, 25) helped Indian Boys Athletic Club beat YMCA (College Branch) by 148 runs. Indian Boys Athletic Club scored 218. Amit Singh scored 62. In reply, YMCA (College Branch) were bundled out for 70.
Parvej Alam (6-58) and Rahul Gupta (154) helped Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club beat Dalhousie Athletic Club by 152 runs. Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club posted 316/9. In reply, Dalhousie Athletic Club scored 164.
Shubhrajit Das (80), Amritendu Ghosh (50), Raju Halder (4-39) and Dipanjan Mukherjee (3-57) helped Netaji Subhas Institute beat Uttarpalli Milan Sangha by 8 wickets. Uttarpalli Milan Sangha scored just 167. In reply, Netaji Subhas Institute scored 169/2.
R Sanjay (92, 3-16), Avinash Yadav (3-50) and Amit Mishra (3-57) helped Shambazar Club beat Calcutta Police Club by 89 runs. Shambazar Club posted 305. In reply, Calcutta Police Club were bowled out for 216. Sanjay Balmiki scored 76.
Arjun Kumar (57, 3-35), Mandeep Singh (3-47), Aditya Roy (80) helped Rajasthan Club beat Sporting Union by 3 wickets. Sporting Union posted 243. In reply, Rajasthan Club scored 247/7.
