Rahul (154), Tanay (118), Gaurav (4-40) star in 1st Div League Two-Day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group B & C two-day league-cum-knockout tournament on Monday, both the batters and bowlers impressed on Day 1.
In the first match, Rahul Gupta smashed a brilliant unbeaten 154 as Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club posted 316/9 at stumps. For Dalhousie Athletic Club, Vijay Sahni (3-21) and Ankur Singh (3-42) impressed with the ball.
In other matches, Tanay Bag (118 not out), Sanjib Kumar Sharma (115) and Lokesh Kumar Sharma (51) helped Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club post 444/8 at stumps. For BNR Recreation Club, Abhijeet Bhagat and Suman Das bagged two wickets each.
Raju Halder (4-39) and Dipanjan Mukherjee (3-57) helped Netaji Subhas Institute bowl out Uttarpalli Milan Sangha for 167. In reply, Netaji Subhas Institute were 124/2 at stumps. Shubhrajit Das scored an unbeaten 56.
Gaurav Kumar (4-40), Pravin Rokde (3-60) helped YMCA (College Branch) bowl out Indian Boys Athletic Club for 218. Amit Singh scored 62. In reply, YMCA (College Branch) were 10 for no loss.
R Sanjay (92), Swapnadeep Dey (52), Ronit Deb (53) helped Shambazar Club post 305. Anish Biswas (3-40), Milind Mandal (3-77) impressed with the ball. In reply, Calcutta Police Club were 3/0 at stumps.
Jayveer (70), Sahityaa Hazra (48), Ankush Sur (47) helped Sporting Union post 243. Mandeep Singh (3-47) and Arjun Kumar (3-35) impressed with the ball. In reply, Rajasthan Club were 61/2 at stumps.
