Bengal go down to Mumbai in Vijay

Bengal displayed a fighting performance but it was Mumbai who emerged winners in the quarterfinals of the Vijay Merchant Trophy in Motera, Ahmedabad, on Monday.
Bengal managed to post 264 in their first innings. In reply, Mumbai scored 355 to bag the all-important first innings lead, which proved vital at the end after the match was drawn.
In their second innings, Bengal scored 190/9 decl to hand a small target to Mumbai. Swastik Maiti scored 54 for Bengal.
Mumbai, in their second innings, were 56/1 at stumps on the fourth and final day.
