Punjab emerge champions of
Men’s U-23 State A Trophy

Punjab outclassed Gujarat by 56 runs in the final clash to emerge champions in the Men’s Under-23 State A Trophy at the JU Second Campus Ground, Salt Lake, on Friday.
Cricket Association of Bengal Vice President Amalendu Biswas handed over the winner’s trophy to Punjab captain Uday Saharan while CAB Treasurer Prabir Chakrabarty handed over the player of the series award to Punjab’s Harnoor Singh. CAB Hony Secretary Naresh Ojha was also present for the summit clash.
Batting first, Harnoor (100) helped Punjab post 317/8 in 50 overs. In reply, Gujarat were bowled out for 261 in 47.1 overs. Aarya Desai top-scored with 76.
