In the CAB Second Division League two-day league encounters on Monday, the bowlers dominated the batters on Day 2.
In the first match, Tushar Mondal bagged a superb 9 for 69 while Amit (68), Ayush Rajbhar (53) also impressed as Wari Athletic Club beat Alipore Sporting Club by 61 runs. Wari Athletic Club posted 241. In reply, Alipore Sporting Club scored 180.
In other matches, Anup Kumar Barick (138), Abhishant (117), Alok Sharma (4-76), Sarit Datta (3-60) helped Suburban Club beat Burnpur Cricket Club by 199 runs. Suburban Club posted 466. In reply, Burnpur Cricket Club scored 267. Harsh Sharma scored 74.
Nitya Nanda Maji (129), Sandip Das (110), Bishal Roy Choudhary (95), Biswajit Dey (4-75), Kunal Bose (4-90) helped West Bengal Police Sports Club beat George Telegraph Sports Club by 243 runs. West Bengal Police Sports Club posted 477/9. In reply, George Telegraph Sports Club scored 234. Shohel Malita scored 111.
Abhik Sinha bagged 6 for 49 while Sasanka Das (62) and Rahul Thakur (57) impressed as Bandroni Young Bengal Sporting Association beat Howrah Sporting Club by 3 wickets. Howrah Sporting Club scored 175. In reply, Bandroni Young Bengal Sporting Association scored 178/7. Shreyom Nandi bagged 3 for 44.
