Agastya (74), Sachin (50) impress as Bengal
bag 3 points after draw in Vijay Merchant Trophy

A dominant all-round performance helped Bengal Under-16 team bag first innings lead and three crucial points after their Vijay Merchant Trophy match against Goa ended in a draw in Surat on Friday.
After two matches, Bengal are placed in second spot in Elite Group E with six points.
Earlier, after posting 321 in their first innings, Bengal bundled out Goa for 230. In their second innings, Bengal scored 183/6 decl, thanks to Agastya Shukla (74 not out) and Sachin Yadav (50 not out).
Chasing a challenging target, Goa were 60/2 at stumps on the third and final day.
