quarterfinals of Women’s U-15 One-Day meet

Riding on a stupendous all-round performance, Bengal outclassed Arunachal Pradesh by a record margin of 370 runs to storm into the quarterfinals of the Women’s Under-15 One Day Trophy in Gwalior on Friday
After five successive victories so far, unbeaten Bengal team finish as Group C-toppers with 20 points to enter the last-eight stage.
Adrija Sarkar (106, 61b, 17×4s, 1×6), skipper Sandipta Patra (90, 44b, 10×4s, 5×6s), Ishita Saha (49 n.o, 31b), Debjani Das (7-3-10-4), Snigdha Bag (4.5-3-2-4), Protyusha Dey (5-5-0-2) were the star performers for Bengal.
Batting first, Bengal scored a record 387/5 in 35 overs with a staggering 11.06 runs per over.
In reply, Arunachal Pradesh were bundled out for just 17 in 23.5 overs. Eight Arunachal batters failed to get off the mark.
