In the 5 matches played in the league-stage encounter of the CAB Second Division One-Day Tournament on Thursday, both the bowlers and batters dominated, displaying some excellent performances.
In the first match, Arghya Rakshit (139 not out off 126), Atanu Debnath (2-66) helped Bengal Sporting Club beat Excelsiors Club by 5 wickets. Sujit Soren scored a fine unbeaten 96.
In other matches, Abhi (6-31), Swagat Kumar Jha (74) helped Suburban Club beat Measurers Club by 8 wickets.
Rehan Mondal (94 off 26, 1-17), Debarun Biswas (90), Akash Mondal (77), Subhadip Sarkar (2-28) helped Vijay Sports Club beat High Court Club by 203 runs. Ranbir Dhanuk bagged 4 for 51.
Priyankar Mukherjee (21, 3-18), Akashdip Ghosh (3-25, 35) helped International Club beat W.B Association of the Deaf by 5 wickets. Piraj Sk scored 44.
Rohit Sen (34, 1-9), Raja Shaw (3-13) helped Ballygunge Sporting Association beat Calcutta Rangers by 5 wickets. Mohit Sarkar bagged 4 for 21.
