Burdwan University and Rabindra Bharati University registered comfortable victories in their respective league-stage matches in the CAB Inter University T20 Tournament in Kharagpur on Thursday.
In the first match, Animikh Ghosh (42), Abhro Das (27), Abishek Roy (3-18), Paramjit Singh (2-12) and Sumit Das (2-14) helped Burdwan University beat Visva Bharati by 6 wickets. Batting first, Visva Bharati scored 104/9. In reply, Burdwan University scored 106/4.
In the second match, Om Bhagat (47, 1-21), Sagar Mukherjee (35), Jahir Khan (3-24) helped Rabindra Bharati University beat Jadavpur University by 69 runs. Batting first, Rabindra Bharati University scored 175/8. In reply, Jadavpur University scored 106/8. Mohit Gupta bagged 4 for 21.
