Bengal Senior Women’s team receives
grand welcome at Kolkata airport

Bengal Senior Women’s team, who displayed an outstanding performance in the T20 tournament finishing as runners-up, received a grand welcome on arrival at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata on Wednesday.
CAB President Snehasish Ganguly congratulated all the players for their performance in the entire tournament and wished them good luck for the upcoming Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy scheduled next month.
Smt Keya Ray, Apex Council member; Sharmila Chakraborty, Women’s Cricket Working group member and Beas Sarkar, S&C coach Bengal U-23 women’s team received the Bengal team at the airport and congratulated the players for their excellent performance.
After playing a fantastic brand of cricket and displaying a consistent form in group-stage and knockouts, Bengal went down to Mumbai in the final at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday.
