Rabindra Bharati University, Technological Students Gymkhana, Kalyani University and Burdwan University registered comfortable victories in their respective league-stage matches in the CAB Inter University T20 Tournament on Wednesday.
In the first match, Ronit Mitra (3-20) and Sagar Mukherjee (32 not out) helped Rabindra Bharati University beat Visva Bharati by 8 wickets. Batting first, Visva Bharati scored 86/9. In reply, RBU scored 92/2.
In the second match, Chitresh Choudhary (28, 3-12) helped Technological Students Gymkhana beat Calcutta University by 63 runs. Batting first, Technological Students Gymkhana scored 151/5. In reply, Calcutta University scored 88.
In the third match, Biraj Malo (62, 1-7), Rehan Mondal (54) and Somnath Shil (4-34) helped Kalyani University beat North Bengal University by 48 runs. Batting first, Kalyani University scored 166/6. In reply, North Bengal University scored 118.
In the fourth match, Sachin Dubey (59 not out, 2-24) and Abhishek Roy (2-14) helped Burdwan University beat Jadavpur University by 6 wickets. Batting first, Jadavpur University scored 105/9. In reply, Burdwan University scored 106/4.
