Bengal reach 178/5 on Day 1 against Punjab

Bengal Senior Men's team made 178/5 in 48 overs in the first innings against Punjab in a practice match on Thursday.
Batting first, opener Sudip Chatterjee scored a fine 51.
Later on, Anustup Majumdar (37) and Sudip Kumar Gharami (36) also impressed.
At stumps, Avilin Ghosh (24 not out) and Writtick Chatterjee (18 not out) remained unbeaten for Bengal.
For Punjab, Siddharth Kaul bagged three wickets.
