Bengal pacer Yudhajit in India U-19 squad for Australia series

Following his outstanding performance recently, Bengal young and talented pacer Yudhajit Guha has been rewarded with a place in India Under-19 One-Day squad for the forthcoming home series against Australia.
The right-arm fast bowler has been superb with the ball recently bagging 32 wickets in Vinoo Mankad & Cooch Bihar Trophy in 2023-24 season.
Yudhajit was the only player who was selected from Bengal for the Men’s U19 One Day Challenger Trophy held at Guwahati last year.
He was also the only player from Bengal to attend the MRF Pace Foundation Academy Camp, Chennai earlier this year.
Yudhajit bagged 9 wickets in 4 matches in Mens U19 Inter NCA One Day Tournament held at Ahmedabad couple of months back. He was the highest wicket-taker among the pacers in the tournament
The talented bowler claimed 19 wickets in 9 matches for Calcutta Police Club in CAB 1st division Tournaments.
The Junior Selection Committee on Saturday picked India's U19 squads for the upcoming multi-format home series against Australia U-19.
The series will feature three 50-over games and two four-day matches to be played in Puducherry and Chennai, respectively.
