Tiwary, Prasad and Hirwani begin Vision 2028

The first phase of Vision 2028 got underway today with the U16 boys attending the first session of the camp that ends on July 7.
While Bengal's Manoj Tiwary will be the batting coach, the medium pace dept will be guided by former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad and spin bowling will be taken care of by Narendra Hirwani.
The first phase of the camp is divided into two sessions everyday. The first half will be attended by the U16 boys and the second by the U19 boys.
After being introduced to the group by Jt Secretary Debabrata Das, in presence of CAB President Snehasish Ganguly, the three coaches began dealing with the talents individually. They talked to the talents individually and watched their practice with hawk eyes. Mr Das has been given the responsibility of monitoring the Vision 2028.
While the short term goal of the three wise men will be to get the various age group squads, including the Senior Bengal side, ready for the domestic season polishing their skills, the long term goals will include ready the future talents and integrate them with various Bengal age group squads.
22 U16 boys and 24 U19 boys are attending the camp.
