Bengal Pro T20 League final sees crowd surge

At least 8000 people filled a section of the Eden Gardens to witness the final of the Bengal ProT20 League today.
After 17 days of riveting cricket that saw new stars emerge and established icons reinvent themselves in course of 63 matches, the stage was set for the Grand Finale.
An the cricket loving people of the city did not disappoint. By the time the final between Sobisco Smashers Malda and Murshidabad Kings began, the BC and KL blocks along with the upper and lower tiers of the Club House were near filled with people catching glimpses of their local heroes and enjoying hard fought competitive cricket.
