Murshidabad Kueens seal semifinal spot in Women’s Bengal Pro T20 League

Murshidabad Kueens became the first team to book a place in the semifinals of the inaugural Women’s Bengal Pro T20 league after a 10-run victory over Adamas Howrah Warriors at the Jadavpur University Salt Lake Campus on Sunday.
Murshidabad Kueens with five wins from six games are at the top of the points table with 10 points while Adamas Howrah Warriors remain in fourth spot with six points from six games, having won three.
Ritika Paul (29), Priyanka Sarkar (2-17), Shrayosi Aich (2-17), Priyanka Prasad (1-17) and Sneha Gupta (1-7) were the star performers for Murshidabad Kueens against Howrah Warriors.
Batting first, Murshidabad Kueens managed to post 101/6 in 20 overs. Skipper Dhara Gujjar bagged 2 for 20 for Adamas Howrah Warriors.
In reply, despite a fine 47 by Dhara, Adamas Howrah Warriors fell short, scoring 91/8 in 20 overs.
