A fine batting effort helped Taltala Institute post a competitive 309 in 85 overs at stumps on Day 1 against Uttarpalli Milan Sangha in the final clash of the CAB Second Division Championship at the Eden Gardens on Sunday.
For Taltala Institute, Dipak Shaw (89), Biraj Malo (68), Manish Singh Rawat (57) were impressive with the bat.
For Uttarpalli Milan Sangha, Monomit Mitra was superb with the ball bagging 6 for 109. Anirban Sarma claimed 2 for 23.
