Krishnendu bags 5 as Taltala Institute enter
semifinals of CAB 2nd Division Championship

Krishnendu Guha (5-41), Atanu Santra (3-9, 39) and Sandip Das (52) helped Taltala Institute beat Howrah Sporting Club by 6 wickets in the quarterfinal match to make their way into the semifinals of the Second Division Championship on Wednesday.
In other matches, Priyankar Mukherjee (102), Mithun Dutta (103) helped Uttarpalli Milan Sangha post 373 on Day 1. For Burnpur Cricket Club, Sourav Dawn bagged four wickets.
Suman Dey (5-85) was impressive with the ball as Cricket Club of Bhawanipore bowl out Calcutta Cricket Club for 287. Biswarup (59) and Aditya Sarkar (53) were the pick of the batsmen for Calcutta Cricket Club.
Mahi (91 not out) and Shantadeep Pal (68) helped Vijay Sports Club post 242. For Behala Friends Union, Md Shahab Alam and Pradunya Sarkar bagged three wickets each. In reply, Behala Friends Union were 37/3 at stumps on Day 1.
