Trishita Sarkar scored a fine 52 while Sritama Nandi bagged 3 for 15 as Barisha Sporting Club beat East Bengal Club by 46 runs in the CAB Women’s Club Cricket T20 league-cum-knockout tournament on Wednesday. Batting first, Barisha Sporting Club posted 162/5 in 19 overs. In reply, East Bengal fell short scoring 116/6 in 20 overs.
In other matches, Mohun Bagan beat Aryan Club by 6 wickets. Batting first, Aryan Club posted only 95/6 in 20 overs. For Mohun Bagan, Rupal Tiwari bagged 2 for 7. In reply, Mohun Bagan went over the line scoring 96/4 in 19.3 overs.
Sandipta Patra (3-16) and Adrija Sarkar (2-12) helped Mohammedan Sporting Club beat Town Club by 5 wickets. Batting first, Town Club managed to post 111/9 in 20 overs. In reply, Md. Sporting Club chased it down scoring 112/5 in 19.5 overs.
