Mohun Bagan enter semifinals of JC Mukherjee T20 meet

Riding on a dominant all-round show, Mohun Bagan Club defeated Barisha Sporting Club by 9 wickets in the quarterfinal match to make their way into the semifinals of the JC Mukherjee Memorial Trophy T20 tournament on Tuesday.
Batting first, Barisha Sporting Club were bundled out for just 90 in 16.5 overs. For Mohun Bagan, Akash Pandey (3-8), Sayan Ghosh (2-4) and Ishan Porel (2-15) were superb with the ball.
In reply, Mohun Bagan went over the line scoring 91/1 in 8.5 overs, thanks to Sudip Kumar Gharami (53).
In the other pre-quarterfinal match, Calcutta Custom Club beat Town Club by 30 runs to enter the quarterfinal.
Batting first, Calcutta Custom Club posted 178/7 in 20 overs, thanks to Arikta Das (44). For Town Club, Geet Puri bagged three wickets.
In reply, Town Club fell short scoring 148/7 in 20 overs. For Calcutta Custom Club, Pintu bagged three wickets while Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal claimed one.
