Riding on a dominant all-round performance, Kolkata Knight Riders outclassed Mumbai indians by 18 runs at the Eden Gardens on Saturday to storm into the IPL playoffs.
Batting first after the game was reduced to 16-overs-a-side due to rain, KKR managed to post 157/7 in 16 overs.
Venkatesh Iyer top-scored with 42.
For Mumbai, Jasprit Bumrah and Piyush Chawla bagged two wickets each.
In reply, Mumbai Indians fell short, scoring 139/8 in 16 overs.
Ishan Kishan top-scored with 40.
For KKR, Harshit Rana, Andre Russell and Varun Chakraborty bagged two wickets each.
