Ankush slams 134 as Sporting Union win in CAB Jr U-18 Invitational meet

Ankush Sur smashed a superb 134 as Sporting Union beat Sarat Samity by 24 runs in Round One of the CAB Junior Under-18 Invitational One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Monday.
In other matches, Shree Ganeshan (8-6) was brilliant with the ball while Irshad Alam (70) was impressive with the bat as United Club beat Bata Sports Club by 289 runs.
Suprojit Purkait (79), Kundan Singh (72), Debanjan Datta (3-25), Shibam Chakraborty (2-22) helped Kalighat Club beat Mohunlal Club by 35 runs. Sahil Roy scored a fine 80.
Sidhant Singh (47), Karan Jay Kumar (3-48), Mayukh Ghosal (3-51) helped White Border Club beat High Court Club by 3 wickets.
Md Ziauddin Ansari (47), Pratip Roy (3-27), Sagnik Shill (3-28) helped Bantra Cricket Club beat Burnpur Cricket Club 4 runs.
Samar Roy (71), Pushpal Halder (4-19) helped Aurora Athletic Club beat Kidderpore Sporting Club by 4 wickets. Sumit Mondal scored 89.
Niladri (59), Pranshuu Vishal Tulsean (4-28) helped Basdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association beat National Athletic Club by 6 wickets. Ramit Ghosh scored a fine 70.
Heamon Pal (78), Sumit Kr Singh (4-58) helped Measurers Club beat Cricket Club of Bhawanipore by 2 wickets. Soumya Mahakul (3-37) was impressive with the ball.
