Priyanshu bags 6 as United Club win in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Purab Jain (127) and Sachin Singh (120) slammed centuries each while Priyanshu Gautam (6-75) and Rishabh Chaudhary (4-90) were impressive with the ball as United Club beat Police A.C by a massive 228 runs in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Tuesday. Batting first, United Club posted 434/9. In reply, Police A.C were bundled out for 206.
In other matches, Noman Manzoor (5-85) and Yudhajit Guha (3-52) were brilliant with the ball while Abhishek Yadav (77) was superb with the bat, playing a match-winning knock as Calcutta Police Club beat YMCA (Coll Br) by 5 wickets. Batting first, YMCA (Coll Br) posted 215. In reply, Calcutta Police Club chased it down comfortably scoring 220/5.
Riding on an outstanding bowling effort by Debargha Saha (7-93), followed by a match-winning 109 by Soumyajit Bose, Mohohar Pukur Milan Samity beat Bhukailash Sporting Club by 7 wickets. Earlier, Monohar Pukur Milan Samity bowled out Bhukailash Sporting Club for 225. In reply, Monohar Pukur Milan Samity chased it down scoring 227/3.
Anup Samaddar scored a brilliant 156 while Dipanjan Mukherjee (86), Md Shoeb Khan (4-51) and Amanjyoti Singh (3-46) also impressed as Netaji Subhas Institute beat Ballygunge United Club by 142 runs. Batting first, Netaji Subhas Institute posted 358. In reply, Ballygunge United Club were bowled out for 216.
Akhilesh Yadav bagged 5 for 90 while Ankush Sur scored a fine 121 as Sporting Union beat Indian Boys Athletic Club by 9 wickets. Batting first, Soumya Basak (74) and Pritam Ghosh (52) helped Indian Boys Athletic Club post 249. In reply, as Sporting Union chased it down scoring 250/1.
Hertinder Singh Gill (3-36) and Saumya Pakray (3-83) were superb with the ball while Subhajit Banerjee (52) delivered with the bat as Tollygunge Agragami beat Wari by 6 wickets. Earlier, Tollygunge Agragami bundled out Wari for just 176. In reply, Tollygunge Agragami chased it down scoring 180/4.
