Ashish bags 5 as Shambazar Club win in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Ashish Suhag (5-73) was superb with the ball as Shambazar Club beat Shibpur Institute by 84 runs in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Monday.
Ashwin Sharma (97) helped Shambazar Club post 292. Lokesh was brilliant with the ball bagging 7 for 103. In reply, Shibpur Institute were bundled out for 208.
In other matches, Suman Saha smashed a superb 270 while Rahul (100, 5-77) and Dharmendra Singh (3-45) also impressed as Calcutta Port Trust beat Dakshin Kolkata Sansad by 440 runs. Batting first, Calcutta Port Trust posted a massive 653. For Dakshin Kolkata Sansad, Aman Rawat and Suchetan Majumdar bagged three wickets each. In reply, Dakshin Kolkata Sansad were bundled out for 213.
Krishnendu Goswami's brilliant 209 was not enough at the end as Dalhousie A.C went down to Rajasthan Club by 1 wicket. Batting first, Dalhousie A.C posted 345/9, thank to Krishnendu. Md Naseeb Alam bagged 4 for 106. In reply, Akshay Saini (90) and Prateek (70) helped Rajasthan Club chase it down scoring 346/9. Ashish Yadav (5-131) was superb with the ball while Giriraj Vyas bagged 4 for 126.
Rohit Dua (4-67) and Vishal Shaw (4-38) helped Aikya Sammilani beat Belgachia United Club by 92 runs. Batting first, Aikya Sammilani were bowled out for 251. Swapnadeep Dey top-scored with 49 runs. For Belgachia United Club, Raju R and Saurav Kumar bagged three wickets each. In reply, Belgachia United Club were bundled out for 159.
Akshay Sain (2-39, 29 not out) and Soham Ghosh (3-29) helped Aryan Club beat Kolkata Union Sporting Club by 1 wicket.. Sourav Chakraborty (50) helped Kolkata Union Sporting Club post 170. In reply, Aryan Club chased it down scoring 171/9.
