Sachin slams 146 as United Club win in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Sachin Singh smashed a brilliant match-winning 146 as United Club chased down a massive total to beat YMCA (Coll br) by 1 wicket on Day 2 in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Friday.
Batting first, Bharath Kumar Gurusamy smashed a superb 156 as YMCA (Coll Br) managed to post 387 on Day 1. For United Club, Jeet Thakur bagged 4 for 155 while Priyanshu Gautam took 3 for 140. In reply, United Club chased it down, scoring 390/9. Rajwinder Singh bagged an impressive 7 for 156.
In other matches, Sayan Dey scored a brilliant 110 while Sumon Pashi (5-59) and Noman Manzoor (4-57) were impressive with the ball as Calcutta Police Club defeated Indian Boys Athletic Club by 78 runs. Batting first, Calcutta Police Club posted 343/8. For Indian Boys Athletic Club, Abir Chatterjee bagged 3 for 63. In reply, despite a fine 99 by Punit Yadav (99), Indian Boys Athletic Club were bowled out for 265.
Arnab Pal (8-57) was brilliant with the ball as Monohar Pukur Milan Samity beat Police A.C by 206 runs. Batting first, Sahil Lal (81) and Anmol Prasad (55) helped Monohar Pukur Milan Samity post 433/8 at stumps. For Police A.C, Anish Prasad bagged 3 for 109. In reply, Police AC were bundled out for 227.
Dipanjan Mukherjee (74, 2-43), Anup Samaddar (59), Jayesh Kumar Singh (3-66) and Amanjyot Singh (2-40) helped Netaji Subhas Institute beat Tollygunge Agragami by 2 wickets. Batting first, Navneet Kumar Singh scored a fine 109 as Tollygunge Agragami posted 269. Jayesh Kumar Singh bagged 3 for 66. In reply, Netaji Subhas Institute chased it down, scoring 270/8.
Akash Singh (108), Sanjib Kumar Sharma (100) and Jitender Shaw (5-65) helped Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club beat Bhukailash Sporting Club by 217 runs. Batting first, ABP scored 427/9. For Bhukailash Sporting Club, Sonu Kumar Singh and Anshuman Pandey bagged four wickets each. In reply, Bhukailash Sporting Club were bowled out for 210.
