Bengal go down to Jharkhand in Vijay Merchant Trophy quarterfinals

Bengal Under-16 team went down to Jharkhand by 49 runs in the quarterfinals of the Vijay Merchant Trophy in Bangalore on Saturday.
Earlier, after bowling out Jharkhand for 292 in their first innings, Bengal batsmen were put to a tough test as they managed to post only 180.
Jharkhand, in their second innings, scored 195 to hand a 308-run target to Bengal.
However, Bengal, in their second innings fell short of the target and bundled out for 258.
