Jharkhand take big lead against Bengal in Vijay Merchant Trophy quarterfinals

Jharkhand Under-16 team extended their lead to 229 runs in their second innings against Bengal in the quarterfinals of the Vijay Merchant Trophy in Bangalore on Friday.
Earlier, after bowling out Jharkhand for 292 in their first innings, Bengal batsmen were put to a tough test as they managed to post only 180. Ayush Ghosh (55) and Ashutosh Kumar (48) impressed with the bat. For Jharkhand, Ishan Om bagged 4 for 45.
Jharkhand, in their second innings, were 117/3 at stumps on Day 3.
