Dhyan Pratap Singh (6-66) was superb with the ball as Bhukailash Sporting Club defeated Police A.C by 66 runs in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day match on Tuesday. Batting first, Bhukailash Sporting Club managed to post 263, thanks to Irshad Rahim (53). In reply, Police A.C were bundled out for 197.
In other matches, Akhilesh Yadav (5-39) helped Sporting Union beat Ballygunge United Club by 63 runs. Batting first, Sporting Union managed to score 180. In reply, Ballygunge United Club were bundled out for 117.
Divesh Singh (168) and Jeet Thakur (64, 5-29) helped United Club beat Wari by 188 runs. Batting first, United Club posted 371. In reply, Wari were bundled out for 183. Priyanshu Gautam bagged three wickets.
Anup Samaddar (151) and Jayesh Kumar Singh (5-110) helped Netaji Subhas Institute beat Calcutta Police Club by 103 runs. Batting first, Netaji Subhas Institute posted 436/9. For Calcutta Police Club, Noman Manzoor (5-123) was the impressive with the ball. In reply, despite fine knocks by Rohit Prodhan (76) and Noman (73), Calcutta Police Club fell short and was bowled out for 333.
Biplab Roy Chowdhury (5-64) helped Indian Boys Athletic Club beat Monohar Pukur Milan Samity by 52 runs. Rahul Thakur (7-63) was superb with the ball as Monohar Pukur Milan Samity bowled out Indian Boys Athletic Club for 233. Punit Yadav scored a fine 93. In reply, Monohar Pukur Milan Samity bundled out for just 181.
Swagato Gangopadhyay (87), Raghav Sharnam (61) and Md Saif (4-55) helped Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club beat YMCA (Coll Br) by 93 runs. Batting first, Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club posted 292. In reply, YMCA (Coll Br) were bundled out for 199.
