Bhawanipur win big in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Koushik Guha scored a brilliant 143 along with Ritam Sarkar (137) as Cricket Club of Bhawanipur defeated Mohun Lal Club by 7 wickets in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Sunday. Batting first, Sk Sahil Murad Hossain scored a fine 100 as Mohun Lal Club posted 342. Ranjan Saha bagged 5 for 73. In reply, Cricket Club of Bhawanipur chased it down, scoring 343/3.
In other matches, Alok Sharma smashed a superb unbeaten 275 off 249 balls as George Telegraph beat High Court Club by 250 runs. Batting first, George Telegraph posted a massive 494/9. In reply, High Court Club were bundled out for 244. Bhupinder Singh bagged three wickets. Shivam Singh scored a fine 146 for High Court.
Anup Kumar Barick (128), Abhishek Mitra (126) and Amit Banerjee (5-74) helped Uttarpalli Milan Sangha beat Balak Sangha by 265 runs. Batting first, Uttarpalli Milan Sangha scored 477/8. In reply, Balak Sangha were bundled out for 212.

Dipayan Biswas (118) and Partha Kundu (3-63) helped Narkeldanga Sir Gurudas Institute beat Bani Niketan Sporting Club by 75 runs. Batting first, Narkeldanga Sir Gurudas Institute posted 275. In reply, Bani Niketan Sporting Club were bowled out for 200.
