Yashovardhan hits 84, bags 5 as Ballygunge United Club
win big in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Yashovardhan Singh scored a fine 84 followed by bagging 5 for 68 as Ballygunge United Club defeated Wari by 171 runs on Day 2 in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day match on Wednesday. Batting first, Akash Verma smashed a superb 135 as Ballygunge United Club posted 463/7 on Day 1. In reply, Wari were bundled out for 292.
In other matches, Sanjib Kumar Sharma (106) and Jitender Shaw (5-28) helped Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club beat Monohar Pukur Milan Samity by a massive 262 runs. Batting first, Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club scored 438 on Day 1. In reply, Monohar Pukur Milan Samity were bundled out for 176.
Rohit Prodhan scored a brilliant match-winning 89 off 165 balls as Calcutta Police Club outclassed Police A.C by 7 wickets. Batting first, Police A.C were bowled out for 223. Noman Manzoor and Yudhajit Guha bagged three wickets each. In reply, Calcutta Police Club chased it down comfortably, scoring 224/3.
Vijay Yadav (91) and Akhilesh Yadav (4-57) helped Sporting Union beat YMCA (Coll Br) by 49 runs. Batting first, Sporting Union posted 264. Rajwinder Singh (4-107) was impressive with the ball. In reply, YMCA (Coll Br) were bowled out for 215.
Priyanshu Gautam (6-65) and Rishabh Chaudhary (3-39) were superb with the ball as United Club defeated Bhukailash Sporting Club by 47 runs. Batting first, United Club managed to post 191. In reply, Bhukailash Sporting Club were bundled out for 144.
