East Bengal on top after second day of First Division league Final

Riding Arnab Nandi's 94 and Sourav Mondal's 66, East Bengal reached 366 in 105.2 overs, before B. Amit took 3 for 31 to down Town Club at 150 for 5 to end day two in the CAB First Division league final today here at the Eden Gardens Kolkata.
Coming out to bowl, East Bengal made clear their intentions by bowling in the right areas making life difficult for the Town batsmen. While B. Amit topped the table picking up three wickets, was backed by Susanta Das and Sourav Mondal with one wicket each.
Resuming the day at 292 for 7, with Arnab Nandi batting at 73 added 21 runs more to his total before being trapped by Azaz Ansari at 94. While, Sourav Mondal added 66 vital runs coming out to bat at number nine, taking East Bengal to 366 in 105.2 overs.
Naved Ahamed remained the highest scorer with 57 off 128 balls for Town. At stumps batting for them, Debapriya Ghosh at 25 and Azaz Ansari at 5.
