win in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Vishal Bhati (224, 3-53) and Abhay Kumar (5-92) helped Salkia Friends Association outclass Jorabagan Club by 166 runs on the second day in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Saturday. Earlier, Salkia Friends Association posted 405. Sk Siddik (8-128) was impressive with the ball. In reply, Jorabagan Club were bowled out for 239.
In other matches, Vijay Sports Club beat Ballygunge Sporting Association by 3 wickets. Akash Mondal (5-57) helped Vijay Sports Club bundle out Ballygunge Sporting Association for 145. In reply, Vijay Sports Club chased it down, scoring 147/7. Amjad Ali bagged five wickets.
Pabitra Seth scored a fine 141 as Bengal Sporting Club defeated YMCA (Chow) by 125 runs. Earlier, Bengal Sporting Club managed to post 365/9. Kaushik Deb (5-92) was impressive with the ball. In reply, YMCA (Chow) were bowled out for 240. Aritra Chakraborty bagged four wickets for Bengal Sporting Club.
Subhadip Chatterjee (98) and Arghyaa Ghosh (78) helped Mouri Sporting Club beat Abasar by 159 runs. Earlier, Mouri Sporting Club posted 318 on Day 1. Ankit Burnwal (6-46) impressed with the ball. In reply, Abasar were bundled out for 159. Harsh Kumar Ray bagged four wickets.
