Shreyansh hits 101 as Kalighat post 408/4
against East Bengal in First Division League

Shreyansh Ghosh smashed a fine 101 as Kalighat Club managed to post 408/4 in their first innings against East Bengal Club on Day 2 in the CAB First Division League Group A match on Saturday.
Besides Shreyansh, Writam Porel (58 not out), Kaushik Ghosh (56) and Subham Chatterjee (53) were impressive with the bat. For East Bengal, Aditya Sharma bagged two wickets. In reply, East Bengal were 73/3 at stumps on the second day.
In the day’s second match, despite a fine bowling by Rishabh Vivek (5-86), Barisha Sporting Club managed to go past Tapan Memorial Club’s first innings score to post 213. Earlier, Tapan Memorial Club were bundled out for just 135 in their first innings.
For Barisha Sporting, Manoj Tiwary (63) and Poonish Mehta (51) were the pick of the batsmen. While Tapan Memorial Club, in their second innings, were 14 for no loss at stumps.
In the day’s third match, Ranjot Singh Khaira scored a brilliant unbeaten 90 off 129 balls along with Shakir Habib Gandhi (42) as Town Club reached 166/3 in their first innings at stumps.
Ishan Porel bagged two wickets for Mohun Bagan. Earlier, Town Club bundled out Mohun Bagan for just 146 in their first innings.
