Rohit bags 5 as Mohun Bagan take first innings lead after
draw vs Tapan Memorial Club in CAB First Division League

Rohit Kumar (5-53) was impressive with the ball as Mohun Bagan took first innings lead after their match against Tapan Memorial Club ended in a draw in the CAB First Division League Group A match on Wednesday.
Resuming Day 3 from overnight score of 2/0, Tapan Memorial Club managed to post 247 in their second innings at stumps on the final day. Karan Dedha (72) and Gaurav Chauhan (59) impressed. Earlier, Tapan Memorial Club were bowled out for 141 in the first innings, in reply, Ankur Paul (88) and Kazi Junaid Saifi (72) helped Mohun Bagan post 271/6 decl. in their first innings.
In other matches, Kalighat Club took first innings lead after their match against Calcutta Customs Club ended in a draw. Resuming Day 3 from overnight score of 71 for no loss, Calcutta Custom Club, in their second innings, posted 307/8, thanks to Samik Karamkar (83). Vikas Singh bagged three wickets. Kalighat, in their second innings, were 5 for no loss at stumps. Earlier, Writam Porel smashed a brilliant 123 as Kalighat managed to post 363/7 in their first innings.
Barisha Sporting Club took first innings lead after their match against Paikpara Sporting Club ended in a draw. Resuming Day 3 from overnight score of 140/4, Paikpara Sporting Club managed to post 232 in their first innings, in replt to Barisha’s first innings score of 345. Prashant Awasthi scored a fine 78 for Paikpara while Debopratim Halder and Ankit Mishra bagged three wickets each for Barisha. In the second innings, Barisha scored 97/4d while Paikpara, in their second innings, scored 34/2 at stumps.
Mohammedan Sporting Club took first innings lead after their match against Bhawanipore Club ended in a draw. Earlier, Bhawanipore Club were bundled out for 157 in their first innings. In reply, Md. Sporting scored 193, to gain first innings lead. Bhawanipore Club, in their second innings, scored 247, thanks to Uvais Ahmad (81). Nilkantha Das bagged five wickets. Md Sporting Club scored 89/0 in their second innings.
