Writam hits 123 for Kalighat in CAB First Division League

Writam Porel smashed a brilliant 123 along with Raxlee Taylor (59) as Kalighat managed to post 363/7 in their first innings against Calcutta Custom Club in the CAB First Division League Group A match on Tuesday. Dilshad Khan bagged three wickets. In reply, Calcutta Custom Club were 71 for no loss at stumps on Day 2.
In other matches, Agniv Pan smashed a superb 180 as Barisha Sporting Club posted 345 in their first innings. Aaryan Keshwani bagged five wickets. In reply, Paikpara Sporting Club were 140/4 at stumps. Debopratim Halder bagged two wickets.
Bhawanipore Club managed to post 116/4 in their second innings to lead by 80 runs, thanks to Uvais Ahmad (70). Nilkantha Das bagged four wickets. Earlier, Bhawanipore Club were bundled out for 157 in their first innings. In reply, Md. Sporting were bowled out for 193. Wajid bagged five wickets for 32.
Ankur Paul (88) and Kazi Junaid Saifi (72) helped Mohun Bagan post 271/6 decl. in their first innings. For Tapan Memorial Club Rishabh Vivek and Arin Roy bagged two wickets each. In reply, Tapan Memorial Club, in their second innings, were 2 for no loss. Earlier, Tapan Memorial Club were bowled out for 141 in the first innings.
