Mohunlal beat Indian Boys by 58 runs, crowned Champions in CAB Junior Knockout

Pinku Bag's unbeaten 109 and Avijit Mishra's 5-wicket haul helped Mohunlal beat Indian Boys Athletic Club by 58 runs in the final match of the CAB Junior knockout tournament today here at Eden Gardens Kolkata.
Chasing Mohunlal's 237 for 9 in 50 overs, Indian Boys’ batsmen looked clueless against the opposition bowling, before being polished off at 179 in 44 overs.
For Indian Boys, B. R. Shubhradeep scored 61 and Dilip Singh bagged 5 wickets but that was not enough to beat the opposition.
On the other hand, in one of the CAB first division semi finals, riding B. Amit’s unbeaten 101 off 142 balls, East Bengal scored 390 for 9 in 126 overs against Mohun Bagan, starting the day at 224 for 6. Bagan ended day at 166 for 3 in 42 overs, with Jatojit Basu remaining unbeaten at 101 off 119 balls.
In the other match, between Bhowanipore and Town Club, resuming the day at 244 for 6, Bhowanipore reached 390 in 125.4 overs, riding an unbeaten 141 off 201 ball by Writtick Chatterjee. Coming out to bat, Town finished day at 97 for 1 in 37 overs.
