Vijay Yadav (128) was superb with the bat as Sporting Union beat Tollygunge Agragami by 3 wickets in the CAB First Division One-Day League-cum-Knockout tournament on Sunday. Navneet Kumar Singh scored 97.
In other matches, Sourav K Gouda’s fine 113 off 89 balls was not enough as Dakshin Kolkata Sansad went down to Calcutta Port Trust by 5 wickets. Kr Aditya (79) and Abhishek Pathak (4-34) impressed.
Raxlee Taylor (101) and Sayed Irfan Aftab (3-22) helped Kalighat Club beat Rajasthan Club by 8 wickets.
Naved Ahmad (66), Salman Ahmed (63) and Sujit Kumar Yadav (2-36) helped Town Club beat Aryan Club by 7 wickets.
Uddipan Mukherjee (59) and Pijush Laha (4-9) helped Aikya Sammilani beat YMCA (Coll Br) by 62 runs. Rajwinder Singh bagged five wickets.
