Azeem Baig (5-25) was superb with the ball as Belgachia United Club beat Bhukailash Sporting Club by 12 runs in the CAB First Division One-Day League-cum-Knockout tournament on Tuesday.
In other matches, Ankur Paul scored a fine 90 to help Mohun Bagan Club beat United Club by 77 runs. S Yadav (3-8) and Sayan Ghosh (3-26) also impressed.
Writtick Chatterjee (43, 3-23) and Amit Kuila (3-20) helped East Bengal Club beat Kolkata Union Sporting Club by 6 wickets.
Subham Singh (97), Fahim Naaz (85) and Jagmohan (3-40) helped Ballgunge United Club beat Paikpara Sporting Club by 2 runs.
Shantanu (55), Diganta Neogi (53) and Prayas Ray Barman (4-40) helped Tapan Memorial Club beat Mohammedan Sporting Club by 7 wickets.
