Poonish bags 5 as Barisha Sporting win big in CAB 1st Div One-Day Meet

Poonish Mehta (5-21) was superb with the ball as Barisha Sporting Club defeated Shibpur Institute by 8 wickets in the CAB First Division One-Day League-cum-Knockout tournament on Monday. Batting first, Shibpur were bowled out for 134. In reply, Barisha Sporting went over the line scoring 137/2 in 31 overs, thanks to Ayush Pandey (68).
In other matches, Suprodip Debnath (83) and Azaz Ansari (2-20) helped Town Club beat Aikya Sammilani by 1 wicket. Saikat Hansda bagged three wickets.
Sonu Naubagh (67), Prinann Dutta (56), Rajkumar Pal (4-32) and Saikat Banerjee (3-26) helped Bhawanipore Club beat Monohar Pukur Milan Samity by 7 wickets.
Tanmoy Pramanick (88) and Rahu Halder (4-21) helped E.RLY. Sporting Association beat Shambazar Club by 28 runs.
