Md Azhar Uddin (105) helps George Telegraph win in CAB 2nd Div One-Day Meet

Md Azhar Uddin scored a fine 105 as George Telegraph defeated Burnpur Cricket Club by 55 runs in the CAB Second Division One-Day League-cum-Knockout tournament on Friday.
In the first match, George Telegraph posted 312/6 in 45 overs. In reply, despite a fine 123 by Salman Khan, Burnpur Cricket Club fell short scoring 257 in 42.4 overs. Donil Dutta and Bhupinder Singh bagged three wickets each.
In other matches, Sourav Dutta Jr (3-15) and Pratyashita Dasaundhi (3-27) helped Alipore Sporting Club beat Balak Sangha by 2 wickets.
Arghyaa Ghosh (77), Ritam Mal (76) and Prithvish Paul (3-34) helped Mouri Sporting Club beat Excelsiors Club by 5 wickets.
Ankit Pandey (6-23) was superb with the ball as Central Calcutta Sporting defeated Bengal Sporting Club by 1 wicket. Manu Mallick scored a fine 56 for Bengal Sporting.
Subhadip Barman (62), Sandipan Dey (3-12), Pradunya Sarkar (2-18) helped Behala Friends Union Club beat Satya Sandhi by 8 wickets.
Sukumar Barman scored a fine 103 and Samaresh Maity and Anjan Gope bagged three wickets each to help Suburban Club beat Sahapur Sporting Club by 33 runs. Suraj Roy (61, 4-32) impressed for Sahapur Sporting.
Neelotpal Bauri (3-28) and Utsav Tarafder (2-7) were superb with the ball as Abasar beat Amature C.C. by 4 wickets.
Ayan Chowdhury (72) and Dhruna Debnath (4-54) helped Gymkhana beat Bantra Cricket Club by 8 runs. Amrit Nandy (70), Aranya Deb Sarkar (4-65) impressed for Bantra Cricket Club.
