Bengal Sr Women down Saurashtra to make quarterfinals of T20 meet

Bengal Senior Women's team put up a superb all-round show to outclass Saurashtra by 54 runs in Vadodara on Tuesday to make their way into the quarterfinals of the Sr Women's T20 Tournament.
Batting first, Deepti Sharma scored a fine 53 as Bengal posted a challenging 153/4 in 20 overs.
In reply, Saurashtra managed to score only 99/6 in 20 overs.
For Bengal, Saika Ishaque (4-7), Titas Sadhu (1-13) and Mita Paul (1-17) were excellent with the ball as Bengal topped Group B with six wins from seven matches.
Bengal will play the last-eight match on Sunday.
