Bengal Sr Women rout Meghalaya by 8 wickets in T20 meet

Bengal Senior Women's team put up a superb bowling effort to outclass Meghalaya by 8 wickets in the Sr Women's T20 Tournament in Vadodara on Tuesday.
Batting first, Meghalaya managed to post only 43/7 in 20 overs, thanks to some outstanding performance by Bengal bowlers S P Aich (2-6), Saika Ishaque (1-3), Titas Sadhu (1-7), Sukanya Parida (1-4), Mita Paul (1-4).
In reply, Priyanka Bala (26) and debutant Bristi Maji (15 not out) batted sensibly as Bengal chased down the target comfortably, scoring 44/2 in 7.5 overs.
