Bengal U-19 beat Uttarakhand by 2 runs in Vinoo Mankad Trophy

Bengal Under-19 men's team defeated Uttarakhand by 2 runs via VJD method in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy in Vijayawada on Friday.
Batting first, Uttarakhand were bowled out for just 192 in 48.3 overs. Poovansh Dhruv scored a fine 76.
For Bengal, Arun Kumar Chaurasiya (2-30), Rahul Prasad (2-22), Mahipal Yadav (2-44), Yudhajit Guha (1-16) and Milind Mondal (1-54) were superb with the ball.
In reply, Bengal went over the line, scoring 178/4 in 39 overs, courtesy of VJD method. Sayan Dey smashed an unbeaten 75 along with Agniswar Das (55).
