Bengal Under-23 team went down fighting to Jharkhand by 5 wickets in the One-Day Tournament in Puducherry on Thursday.
Opting to bat, Bengal posted 222 in 48.5 overs. Arin Roy (74) and Shashank Singh (53) were impressive with the bat.
Sahil Raj bagged four wickets for Jharkhand.
In reply, Sharandeep Singh (87) and Sahil (65) helped Jharkhand chase down the total, scoring 226/5 in 46.1 overs.
Rishabh Vivek bagged two wickets for Bengal.
