CAB goes online for players' registration
for all age-group meets
14th Aug 2023
With an aim to make the players' registration process smoother and for the development of the game in Bengal, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), for the first time ever has decided to launch the online document submission and players' registration process across all age-group levels for 2023-24 season.
The online document submission and registration of the players will go online through the CAB website (www.cricketassociationofbengal.com) from Thursday, August 16th, 12pm onwards.
In order to ensure the smooth transition from offline to online registration process, CAB conducted a day-long workshop on Monday at the Conference Hall, Eden Gardens.
The workshop was conducted by Chairman of School Sub Committee Sanjay Das in the presence of other committee members Deep Chatterjee, Kanchan Maity and Subrata Sinha.
CAB Vice President Amalendu Biswas and CAB Hony Joint Secretary Debrabrata Das were also present in the workshop.
The representatives, from various Affiliated Clubs, District Sports Association and other non affiliated cricket coaching centres, who made their presence felt in the workshop were briefed about the online document submission process and players' registration procedure via an audio-visual demonstration.
In what can be termed as a major advancement, the representatives present for the workshop were happy with the process turning online as this would help save both time and money.
This will benefit the U-13, U-15, U-18 and Mayor's Cup tournaments.
A second session with the units will be held on 20th September to review the course of the online registration.
It is mandatory to complete the registration process by 30th September.
The committee can also be reached out at helpline numbers 8981784773 & 7596956003 for any doubts during the course of online submission and registration procedure.
