CAB congratulates Mukesh Kumar on maiden Test call-up

Bengal pacer Mukesh Kumar has received his maiden Test call-up, while also being named in the India ODI squad for the forthcoming tour of West Indies starting on July 12.
Mukesh, who bagged 22 wickets in the 2022-2023 Ranji season, helping Bengal reach the final, has been rewarded for his consistent performance lately.
"On behalf of CAB let me congratulate Mukesh and wish him all the best. He has been very consistent over the last two seasons. I am sure he will do very well given a chance in the playing eleven," said CAB President Snehasish Ganguly.
The 29-year-old, with 149 scalps in 38 first-class matches, will be raring to give it all to cement his place in the national side.
