enter semifinals of N C Chatterjee T20 meet

Greer Sporting Club and Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club registered easy victories in their respective quarterfinal matches to enter the last-four stage of the N C Chatterjee T20 Memorial League cum knockout tournament on Wednesday.
In the first match, Amar Gupta smashed a superb unbeaten 93 off 63 balls along with Kingkar Roy (72) as Greer Sporting Club beat Bantra Cricket Club by 4 runs. Pranab Prasad bagged two wickets for Greer Sporting. 
In the second match, Alok Sharma (3-20) and Raja Yadav (2-15) were impressive with the ball as Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club beat West Bengal Police Sports Club by 9 wickets by virtue of higher run-rate after the match was stopped due to rain.
