Greer Sporting & Calcutta Port Trust enter quarters of N C Chatterjee T20 meet

Greer Sporting Club and Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club registered victories in their respective pre-quarterfinal matches to enter the last-eight stage of the N C Chatterjee T20 Memorial League cum knockout tournament on Thursday.
In the first match, Mohammad Shamshuza (4-8) was superb with the ball as Greer Sporting Club beat Bengal Sporting Club by 87 runs.
In the second match, Sk Md Sharukh (67) and Monomit Mitra (5-9) helped Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club beat Mauri Sporting Club by 56 runs.
